Admission criteria
Applicants need to meet the following admission criteria:
Please consider that you are not eligible for an Erasmus Mundus Scholarship, if you have resided or carried out your main activity (work, study, etc.) for more than a total of 12 months over the last 5 years in one of the European countries.
Bachelor Programme
- successfully competed 2 years of studies
- applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English or German by submitting standardized English/German test scores (TOEFL, IELTS, DALF or equivalent certificate). If you choose Lithuania, Slovakia or Belgium you should proof the proficiency in English, for those who choose Germany - you should proof the proficiency in German or in English.
- Excellent grades
- citizenship of one of CA countries: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan or Turkmenistan (read more at mobility).
- conformity of your studying profile, to the offered disciplines at the European University (read more at European Partners/Field of studies)
Master Programme
- Applicants must have a BA degree
- Proof of registration for Master Programme
- Excellent grades
- applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English or German by submitting standardized English/German test scores (TOEFL, IELTS, DALF or equivalent certificate). If you choose Lithuania, Slovakia or Belgium you should proof the proficiency in English, for those who choose Germany - you should proof the proficiency in German or in English.

PhD Programme
- proof of registration for PhD programme at home university
- confirmation of academic supervision by a professor at the home university that refers to the applicant's project, thereby confirming that the host institute will provide a workplace and a confirmation by the home university that the planned project is part of the PhD-thesis
- detailed description of research interests including the following information: subject, methods, aims, bibliography and time schedule for the planned project.

For academic staff (administrative, teaching staff)
- work or working partnership with the partner university

- working partnership at the faculty of the host university
- proficiency in the language of instruction /communication at the host university (English/German)
- description of proposed project;
- letter of the host university confirming the availability of the training facilities and / or describing the benefit of the project for the hosting institution
- letter of support of the project by the home university
